Benefit concert marking the closing of the festival – Čankišou – Orlí Street Theatre (ticket prices: CZK 200/150)

Čankišou is a Czech band representing a fusion of world music and rock. Its eclectic style combines influences by a variety of ethnic groups (Arab, African, Indian and Balkan) and the rock foundations of its respective members.

The band’s portfolio is based on a fictional legend of ancient one-legged Čanki people in whose language the band sings. Čankišou perform around the world on a regular basis, having previously performed in Kuala Lumpur or on Borneo. Their lead singer is musician Karel Heřman. The proceeds from the sale of tickets will be used to cover the expenses incurred with the festival, as visually impaired children and youth and their guides take part in the four-day programme free of charge.
